MEESH'S WHISTLER REPORT - Merry Christmas

Whistler, BC – “I’m singing in the rain…” no, wait a second, “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas…” hold on, “raindrops keep falling on my…..” oh I’m confused. Well here it is Christmas Day and it’s raining to 2000m, basically the top. The good news is that the freezing level is supposed to drop to 1100m (Olympic Station) for the next couple of days. So hopefully we will see some snow out of all this.

Other than the lack of snow, things are going well. We can still ski out to the bottom and the snow is soft not icy. New skis are still in their plastic wrap as rock skis are still the order of the day. Hopefully the next report will hold better news regarding snow levels. Until then I hope everyone has a very sherry Christmas and a boozy New Year. Wishing everyone all the health and happiness (and snow) for the upcoming year.
